About SEO

The questions we are asked most often about search.

SEO, or search engine optimisation, is the practice of improving a website so it appears for the searches your potential customers make. It covers the technical health of your site, the quality and relevance of your content, and the authority signals search engines use to decide who to trust.

Most sites see early movement within three to six months, with more meaningful commercial results building between six and twelve months. It depends on competition, the current state of your site, and how quickly changes get implemented.

It depends on scope, competition and how much content and development work is needed. We scope every engagement individually and share pricing after an initial audit. [Add your typical ranges here once confirmed.]

No. Nobody controls search results, and any guarantee is either meaningless or based on terms nobody searches for. We commit to a documented strategy, delivered work, and transparent reporting.

Questions

Pricing & Contracts

How engagements are structured and billed.

Ongoing programmes are a fixed monthly fee based on agreed scope. Projects such as audits, strategy and website builds are quoted as one-off pieces of work. We do not charge a percentage of ad spend.

No. We recommend a six-month minimum for ongoing SEO because the work needs time to compound, but we do not use lock-in contracts to retain clients.

For ongoing SEO, six months. Audits, strategy work and website projects have no ongoing commitment.

Yes, with reasonable notice. We would rather pause properly than have you pay for months where nobody has capacity to act on the work.

Questions

Our Services

What we do and do not offer.

Yes. We optimise Google Business Profiles, build location pages, manage citations and track local and map pack rankings for businesses serving specific areas.

Yes. We design and build fast, SEO-ready websites, and we can also work alongside your existing development team.

Yes, and it is usually the fastest route to results. We audit what you have, fix what is holding it back, and build on the authority the domain has already earned.

Yes, across the common platforms. E-commerce has its own technical challenges around faceted navigation, duplicate content and catalogue scale, and we handle those specifically.

Questions

Reporting & Measurement

How performance is tracked and shared.

We agree KPIs before work starts — typically qualified organic traffic, keyword visibility, conversions and leads or revenue — and report against them monthly using Google Analytics and Search Console.

Yes. The analytics and Search Console properties are yours, and you have the same access we do. We do not gatekeep data as a retention tactic.

We say so directly in reporting, explain what we believe is causing it, and propose a change of approach. Hiding a bad quarter behind favourable metrics helps nobody.

You do. The website, content, accounts and data are yours. We hand over cleanly.
